The glitch project is very unique in the sense you don’t get to control the outcome. Sure you can generate pictures based on themes or try to give colors, or certain glitch effects that fit together to further emphasize this theme. However with most of the glitch techniques as well as just the AI generated images there will always be this factor of randomness that is out of the artist's hands. That aspect of this project intrigues me greatly and I am excited to relinquish some of my control over a project. I have been very much enjoying both unrealistic landscapes such as cities on floating islands, or futuristic cyberpunk esc cities. As well as the idea of animals or fake creatures doing things they shouldn’t. Some of my favorite AI generated images I have glitched in the labs so far are those that have animals performing tasks or being in positions they usually wouldn’t be and you would only find humans in. They are very comical to me but also can give a sense of uneasiness or a glitch in the system itself even without the glitch aesthetics. I have very much enjoyed the pixel sorting glitch aesthetic it was one of my favorites in terms of the range of outcomes as well as the general style. I felt my pixel sorted images in the lab had the widest outcome of randomness to them, and could be anything from a small glitch where the image is still visible to an almost completely different pieces where the entire form and colors of the image had been sorted so harshly you can no longer grasp the original images.
